Funkisköket, känd under benämningen retrokök eller 50-tal kök. är en kökstyp som har utvecklats under funktionalismen, en arkitektonisk och designrörelse som uppstod under 20- och 30-talet. Funktionalismen strävades efter att skapa utrymmen och föremål som var praktiska, enkla och användarvänliga. Det svenska funkisköket blev associerat med den moderna bostaden som ett uttryck för de sociala reformerna som syftade till att höja levnadsstandarden för samhälle genom att effektivisera hushållsarbetet för kvinnor som traditionellt var de som skötte hushållet.
